Join the Rotary Club of Newburyport at their flagship fundraiser, Chefs' Dinner. Local restaurants and their chefs volunteer their food and time to help the organization raise money that goes back to the community. The chefs showcase their creativity and talent by cooking a three course meal table side for a group of ten people. There will also be a cash bar, wine pull, and silent auction.
This year, co-presidents Lindsay St. Pierre and Susan Viccaro have chosen to donate all proceeds from this event to The Link House and Turning Point. The Link House was founded in 1972 and has five residential programs for men and women, and two outpatient programs, one for adults and one for children ages 5-18. The Link House helps individuals improve their mental well-being and take positive steps toward living sober, independent, and productive lives. Turning Point, Inc. has been providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for nearly 50 years. Turning Point has over 34 group residences and over 25 individuals living on their own in 12 cities and towns in the greater Merrimack Valley area.
